Young Jeezy has defended his decision to delay his upcoming album, Thug Motivation 103.
Jeezy didn’t want to rush anything with this release and wants to make sure the material justifies the deadline.
He told XXL Mag: "I'm doin' what any n**ga would do on his fourth album. I'm gettin' it together. I'm not just gonna give you anything, to be hot and relevant. That doesn’t make sense. That's like telling a motherf**ker anything just to get it done.
"I'ma be straight up with you, so when you walk away, even if you ain't satisfied, I kept it real. I kept it 100 per cent. And that's the way I feel. I wouldn't even call it the top of my game. I'm just really figuring out the music s**t."
TM103 follows Jeezy's 2008 album, "The Recession," which sold 952,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan, and debuted at No. 1 on the 200 chart. "Jizzle" arrives on the heels of Jeezy's "Lose My Mind" track with Plies. That song reached No. 5 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, selling 250,000 downloads.
